Predators reassign 19, roster down to 28
Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced following tonight’s preseason game that the club has reassigned forwards Jason Guerriero, Ryan Maki, Cal O’Reilly, Rich Peverley, Antti Pihlstrom, Mike Santorelli, Oliver Setzinger, Andreas Thuresson, John Vigilante, Shane Willis and Kelsey Wilson, defensemen Cody Franson, Alex Henry, Mark Matheson, Richard Stehlik, Alexander Sulzer and Nolan Yonkman and goaltenders Maxime Daigneault and Dov Grumet-Morris to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

A total of 16 forwards, nine defensemen and three goaltenders remain in Predators camp.  The Admirals open training camp on Monday, Sept. 24.

The Predators return to action for their second-to-last preseason game at Atlanta on Tuesday night at Philips Arena. Nashville rounds out its preseason schedule next Saturday night at the Sommet Center when it takes on Columbus. Tuesday's game starts at 6 p.m. CT, while puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT on Saturday.
