Hot Shots Summerfest Tour wraps up

Each stop included demonstrations by the Predators Amateur and Youth Department that covered such topics as Predators history, basic hockey equipment, and street hockey skills. Predators team mascot, Gnash, joined the games and there were also Predators giveaways for all participants. The overall goal of the Summerfest Tour was to promote the Nashville Predators and the sport of hockey at the grassroots level.
The Predators Hot Shots Summerfest Tour made stops at the following facilities - Bellevue Community Center, Brentwood YMCA, Boys and Girls Club Thompson Lane, Buena Vista Enhanced Option Elementary School, Cason Lane Academy, Gladeville Elementary School, Glenn Elementary Enhanced Option, Hermitage Community Center, Joe C. Davis YMCA Camp Widjiwagan, Margaret Maddox YMCA, Martha O'Bryan Center, McCabe Community Center, Napier Community Center, Robertson YMCA and Sumner County YMCA.
The Preds Amateur & Youth Hockey Department will take a brief break to prepare for the upcoming season. Then it will be back to work in the community with the Preds Hot Shots program, visiting local elementary and middle school physical education classes during the school year.
