The event, a Predators Player Clinic, was held at Southern Ice Arena in Franklin, Tenn., and featured Predators forwards Adam Hall and Darcy Hordichuk and Predators color analyst Terry Crisp. The Predators' Amateur & Youth Hockey Department staff along with Hall, Hordichuk and Crisp conducted two one-hour clinics for youth hockey players from the Southern Ice Mite (ages 8-and-under) and Squirt (ages 9 & 10) divisions' House League teams.
The youngsters were treated to a night with the Predators at their home rink, temporarily trading in their coaches for Predators players who conducted practice. The Predators encouraged the players to challenge themselves through basic hockey drills including skating, stickhandling, passing and shooting. At the conclusion of the clinic, Hall and Hordichuk signed autographs.
The clinic was free to participants and designed to give local youth hockey players a chance to work on their hockey skills and interact with Predators players in a fun and challenging environment. All participants received Predators giveaways and a chance to receive an autograph from their favorite Predators player. These clinics are hosted by the Nashville Predators Amateur & Youth Hockey Department throughout the year as part of the organization's mission to support the local youth hockey community.
