Predators sign forward John Vigilante

Nashville, Tenn. (December 7, 2005) - Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has signed amateur free-agent forward John Vigilante (VIJ-uhl-ahn-tee) and assigned him to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.  As per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Vigilante, 20 (5/24/85), is the leading scorer (14g-34a-48pts) and team captain for the Ontario Hockey League's Plymouth Whalers.  The 6-0, 200-pound Dearborn, Mich. native, who went undrafted, is Plymouth's all-time leader in game-winning goals (23) and ranks tenth on the club's all-time scoring list with 217 points (83g-134a) in 227 career OHL games.
