Predators recall center Vernon Fiddler
Nashville, Tenn. (October 26, 2005) - Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled center Vernon Fiddler from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Fiddler, 25 (5/9/80), has appeared in one game with Nashville this season and four games with the Admirals. The 5-11, 204-pound pivot has posted six points (4g-2a) in 37 career NHL games with the Predators.
The Predators (8-0-0) take on the Central Division rival Columbus Blue Jackets (2-7-0) tonight at 6:00 p.m. CT at Nationwide Arena. The game will be televised locally on FSN South and broadcast on 104.5-FM The Zone.
Nashville returns to the Gaylord Entertainment Center on Saturday to host the Edmonton Oilers (3-6-1).
