Predators recall center Vernon Fiddler

Nashville, Tenn. (October 26, 2005) - Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled center Vernon Fiddler from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. 

Fiddler, 25 (5/9/80), has appeared in one game with Nashville this season and four games with the Admirals.  The 5-11, 204-pound pivot has posted six points (4g-2a) in 37 career NHL games with the Predators.

The Predators (8-0-0) take on the Central Division rival Columbus Blue Jackets (2-7-0) tonight at 6:00 p.m. CT at Nationwide Arena.  The game will be televised locally on FSN South and broadcast on 104.5-FM The Zone. 

Nashville returns to the Gaylord Entertainment Center on Saturday to host the Edmonton Oilers (3-6-1).  Tickets for Saturday night are still available and may be purchased at the Gaylord Entertainment Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, which include Kroger, Tower Records and Hecht's, or by calling (615) 770-PUCK. Tickets may also be purchased online.
