Preds\' TV broadcast schedule announced

Nashville, Tenn. (September 12, 2005) - The Nashville Predators announced today that FSN South will televise 55 Nashville Predators regular-season games this season, including 35 of 41 road games and 20 home contests at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.  The telecasts will reach more than 2.5 million viewers across Tennessee, Kentucky and northern portions of Alabama and Mississippi.

Play-by-play announcer Pete Weber and color commentator Terry Crisp return for their eighth season together calling the Predators action.  In addition, FSN South will air the Predators' 30-minute pre-game show, Predators Tonight, live from the Gaylord Entertainment Center before the 20 home game telecasts. FSN South will also air Predators Snapshot, a monthly magazine-style show throughout the season.

The first FSN South broadcast of the season is the Predators regular-season opener on Wednesday, October 5 against the San Jose Sharks at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. Other highlights from the Predators' 2005-06 FSN South coverage schedule include the Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning (December 10), Western Conference Champion Calgary Flames (December 27, March 7 and March 18) and all eight games against the Central Division rival Detroit Red Wings (November 21, January 6, January 23, January 24, February 8, February 9, March 21 and April 18), the Predators' inaugural playoff opponent from the 2003-04 season.

FSN South will also televise at least four games each with division foes Chicago (December 15, December 21, March 1, April 5, and April 8), Columbus (October 26, November 23, December 17 and January 28), and St. Louis (October 15, October 20, March 20, April 1, April 6 and April 11).
