Nashville, Tenn. (July 26, 2005) - The Nashville Predators today unveiled their 2005-06 business plan that includes a reduction of season-ticket prices to Day One (1998-99) of the franchise, introduction of special weekday pricing for individual game sales, concession specials in October and November, as well as a free preseason game, as the team prepares for its seventh season of NHL play.

"Our No. 1 priority is to win back our fans," said Predators EVP of Business Affairs Steve Violetta. "We have great fans here in Nashville and want to reach out to them via our three P's--pricing, promotion and product. David Poile and the hockey department are committed to putting a competitive and successful product on the ice. Our business operation is committed to developing pricing and promotions that appeal to existing ticketholders and fans and enables us to attract new fans as the NHL returns with an even more entertaining game."

Existing season ticketholders and those who purchase new season tickets before September 30 are entitled to Day One season ticket prices. Season ticketholders will realize a discount ranging from 4-51%, depending on seat location. Predators' season ticket prices with the Day One reduction will range from $10-57 per game. Already one of the lowest prices in the league, the Predators' average season-ticket price per game will be $37.12.

The 2005-06 season marks the first time the Predators will make their $10 tickets available on a season ticket basis, though a designated portion will be maintained for individual game sales. Additionally, there has been some reconfiguring of seat pricing in the Gaylord Entertainment Center for Predators games. Lower Bowl I is comprised of rows 3-15 between the goal lines while Lower Bowl II are seats in rows 16 and above between the goal lines. Lower Bowl III are seats in row 16 and above behind the goal lines.

Another part of the reconfigured pricing structure is the creation of a Family Zone. Located in Sections 320-322, seats in these sections will be available on an individual game basis for $15. Season ticketholders already in these sections will retain their locations, but no additional season tickets will be sold here.

"The Family Zone seats are some of the best seats in the NHL," said Violetta. "They are only 75 feet from the ice and at the end where the Predators shoot twice for just $15."

The Predators will also introduce special weekday prices for individual game sales in October and November. Weekday game prices will be $5-10 less than box-office prices for weekend games.
