Preds captain Jason Arnott was recognized with NHL.com's "Second Star of the Day" for his two goal, three point performance on Saturday against the Dallas Stars. Arnott assisted on the game's opening score 0:46 into the game and then netted a pair of power-play goals of his own, including the game-winner. Arnott has four points through the team's first two games and ranks tied for second in the NHL in points this season (as of games played on Saturday night).

Arnott also scored two goals in Nashville's home opener a year ago, leading to a 28 goal, 72 point campain in '07-08.
