Preds Re-Launch Season With a Gold Out on February 27

Following the end of the Olympic break and the return of Preds Olympians Shea Weber (Canada) and Roman Josi (Switzerland), the Nashville Predators will re-launch their season on Feb. 27 when the Tampa Bay Lightning visit Bridgestone Arena. With several special events planned, the game will energize Smashville as the Preds make their playoff push.

WHO: Nashville Predators vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

WHEN: Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.

WHERE: Bridgestone Arena (501 Broadway, Nashville)

NOTES: The following special events will take place:

* Plaza Party presented by Lee Company beginning at 5 p.m., with interactive games, a live band, food and drink.

* “Gold Out” presented by Bridgestone and Hunt Brothers Pizza, all fans in attendance will receive a gold t-shirt.

* Twice Daily “Everyone’s a Winner” as all fans in attendance are guaranteed to receive a medium fountain drink or small coffee at a participating Twice Daily locations.

* New opening video with accompanying laser show.

* Special guest anthem

Doors open at 5 p.m. as all season ticket holders can enjoy free food and beverages, including Pepsi products, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and peanuts from 5-6 p.m. prior to that night’s game.

For every Thursday night home game, fans can participate in College Night presented by Jack in the Box! With a college ID, receive either an upper bowl ticket for $15 or a lower bowl ticket and a "College" gold shirt for $30. Drink specials will be offered through the first intermission.

Following the Preds season re-launch on Feb. 27, the team will next play on Saturday, March 1 against the Winnipeg Jets with a special 2 p.m. start time. The Preds have designated this game as a “Hockey Fights Cancer” night, where money will be raised for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The Preds will also throw a plaza party presented by Lee Company beginning at noon.
