Predators Reduce Roster To 33

-Assign eight to Milwaukee and Leipsic back to his junior club-

Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has assigned Scott Darling, Scott Ford, Magnus Hellberg, Kevin Henderson, Michael Liambas, Bryan Rodney, Scott Valentine and Mark Van Guilder to Milwaukee (AHL). The team also reassigned Brendan Leipsic back to his junior team, the Portland Winterhawks (WHL).

Nashville’s training camp roster is now at 33 players (roster attached):

Twenty-one forwards: Taylor Beck, Gabriel Bourque, Patrick Cehlin, Rich Clune, Matt Cullen, Mike Fisher, Filip Forsberg, Paul Gaustad, Matt Hendricks, Patric Hornqvist, David Legwand, Simon Moser, Eric Nystrom, Joonas Rask, Miikka Salomaki, Colton Sissons, Craig Smith, Nick Spaling, Viktor Stalberg, Austin Watson and Colin Wilson.

Nine defensemen: Victor Bartley, Mattias Ekholm, Ryan Ellis, Joonas Jarvinen, Seth Jones, Roman Josi, Kevin Klein, Joe Piskula and Shea Weber.

Three goaltenders: Carter Hutton, Marek Mazanec and Pekka Rinne.
