Nashville, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators are gearing up for PredsFest, an annual celebration of hockey that has been expanded for 2013 as a month-long extravaganza that runs through September and culminates with the return of hockey to Smashville at the home opener on Oct. 8 vs. the Minnesota Wild. PredsFest 2013 is highlighted by several exciting Predators functions including the First Tennessee Nashville Predators/Brent Peterson Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Franklin American Mortgage and Petey’s Preds Party, an exclusive Bridgestone-Arena only ticket sale, a Social Media Scavenger Hunt, Skate of the Union, the annual Meet the Team party for full Season Ticket Holders and more!

The Preds are gearing up to host the first big PredsFest event of the season with the third annual First Tennessee Nashville Predators Brent Peterson Celebrity Golf Classic and Petey’s Preds Party on Sept. 6 and 8, respectively. The Celebrity Golf Classic and Petey’s Preds Party are highlighted by interaction with Nashville Predator players, as well as several other celebrity attendees from the sports and entertainment world. Both events raise funds for the Peterson Foundation for Parkinson’s and the Nashville Predators Foundation. The Golf Classic is sold out but tickets for Petey’s Preds Party can be purchased online through nashvillepredators.com/golf. Petey’s Preds Party is hosted by Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton and headlined by comedian and actor Kevin Nealon of Saturday Night Live fame.
This Saturday, Sept. 7 at noon, Preds fans will have the very first opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2013-14 regular season, exclusively at Bridgestone Arena. The on sale is highlighted by a plaza party with live music, games and more; ticket pick-up for Season Ticket Holders; and a Social Media Scavenger Hunt., which kicks off at 10 a.m. as teams compete to win a 2013-14 Nashville Predators Season Ticket package. The Preds annual town-hall style event, Skate of the Union takes place on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 5-8 p.m. and will feature concourse activities, player autographs, a player panel, an ownership and management panel, photo opportunities and more. As part of the Predsfest activities leading up to excitement of Sundays preseason home game we are offering fans the opportunity to skate on the same ice as the Preds! On Wednesday, September 18, we will host a Public Open Skate. Doors/parking will open at 6:15pm. $10 entry fee and FREE skate rental. All ages invited (children under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian). No RSVP required. Complimentary parking will be provided in the Grand Avenue garage on 6th Ave beginning at 6:15pm. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Nashville Predators Pediatric Cancer Research Fund.
